Changelog
What Teddit contains, and what changes from here on. Newest entries come first. So far there is one.
October 2026
new First public version.
This is the first entry. There are no earlier releases to list. The sections below say what this version contains, grouped by area, and each links to the page that documents it.
Scans
- Six assistants: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini with web search on, and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. For ChatGPT and Gemini, also the answer as their app shows it.
- One answer per prompt per assistant per scan, in the site’s language and from the site’s country.
- Scan settings per site: all active prompts or one category, which assistants, the model of each, a schedule and spending limits.
- Schedules: daily, weekly or monthly, run at night (UTC), with batch pricing for a lower price on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
- “Scan selected” for a handful of prompts picked from the list.
- A cost estimate before every scan, a limit per scan, and a monthly cap per site. See Balance and spending limits.
- Scan history with status, answers and cost, and a page per scan with every raw answer.
- A running scan can be cancelled; the answers already collected are kept, and their tone is judged.
Measurements you can check. Every tone comes with the sentence from the answer that shows it; an answer without such a sentence stays without a tone instead of being counted as neutral. See Tone of voice.
AI crawler access. Your robots.txt read every night: for each AI crawler, allowed or blocked and the line that decides, plus llms.txt. See AI crawler access.
The assistants’ searches. The web searches the assistants ran while answering your prompts, with where they rank in Google, to read or to add as new prompts. See Quick start.
Reports
- Dashboard: naming you, linking to you, share of voice and your pages cited, each with its change; tone when you are named; a chart by assistant; what changed; competitors; the most cited sources.
- Periods of a day, a week, a month or three months, on every report screen.
- Prompts: a strip of history squares per assistant, with share of voice and tone for each prompt. The rules are on the Metrics and statuses page.
- The view of one prompt: each assistant’s answer word for word, the brands it names, its sources sorted into your site, other sources, competitors’ sites and reference pages, and the web searches it ran.
- Trends: prompts won and lost per period, results per category, and a visibility score per prompt and for the site.
- Competitors: who is named where, by assistant; head to head; a page for each competitor; suggestions of untracked names found in recent answers.
- Pages: every page of your site from its sitemap, with its title: which assistants link to it, for which prompts, and where it ranks in Google for the assistants’ searches.
- Changing the brand’s names or the list of competitors re-reads every stored answer, without asking any assistant again.
