Pricing questions
Is there a free plan or a trial?
No. There is no subscription, no free plan and no trial. You top up a prepaid balance, from $25, and pay for what your scans use at the prices on this page: the answers, plus the two small extras described below.
What does a scan cost?
A scan asks every active prompt of every assistant you turned on, so it is prompts × assistants answers. Each answer has an estimated price that depends on the assistant and the model. The total is shown before the scan starts.
What is the difference between an assistant’s models?
Each assistant offers a default model and smaller or larger ones. A larger model usually writes a fuller answer and costs more per answer. You choose the model per assistant in Scan settings, and the price updates as you switch.
What is the app answer option for ChatGPT and Gemini?
The answer as the ChatGPT or Gemini app shows it, instead of an answer from one of the models you pick. It comes in two prices: slow (the answer arrives within minutes, for less) and fast (at once). Both cost far less per answer than the models.
What are AI Overviews and AI Mode?
Google’s own AI answers: AI Overviews, the AI answer above Google’s search results, and AI Mode, Google’s AI search. Teddit reads them from Google, Live (at once) or Standard (within minutes, for less). Google often shows no AI Overview for a search; that is a result too, an answer that does not name you, and it is charged as an answer.
Can I stop a scan from costing too much?
Yes, three ways. “Max per scan” stops a scan once it has spent that amount; left at 0, a scan stops at twice its estimate. A monthly cap on a site stops its scans once the month’s spend reaches the cap. And a scan never spends more than the balance holds: it stops when the balance runs out.
Is there a cheaper way to run regular scans?
Yes. Switch on Batch pricing in Scan settings. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini then answer for a lower price, within a few hours (a day at most); the other assistants answer at once at the normal price.
What if I only scan by hand?
Then nothing runs and nothing is charged until you press Run scan. There is no monthly minimum.
Do I pay for failed answers?
No. A scan is charged only for the answers it collects. An answer that fails, for example on a timeout, costs nothing, and a charge made by mistake goes back to the balance.
Who processes the payment?
Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. It runs the checkout, handles VAT and sales tax, and sends the receipt; a business can enter its VAT ID at checkout. Prices include tax: what you pay is what lands on the balance. The smallest top-up is $25. The balance does not expire; top-ups are not refundable (see the Refund Policy). The invoice for each card payment and a monthly statement are on the Spending page.
What is included in the price of an answer?
The assistant’s answer, the web searches it runs, and reading it for brands and links. Two extras are added to a scan: judging the tone of the answers that name you (a few cents per hundred answers) and checking where the assistants’ searches rank in Google (about $0.0036 per search). The estimate before each scan includes both, and each answer is charged at what it really used. Reading your reports, the MCP server and the API cost nothing.
