AI visibility tools compared
Teddit, Otterly.AI, Peec AI, Profound, Semrush’s AI Visibility Toolkit and Ahrefs Brand Radar: how you pay, what the entry price buys, which AI assistants each one asks, and how you get the data out.
Every tool here does the same basic job: it asks AI assistants the questions your buyers ask and reports whether your brand comes up, against which competitors and with which sources. They differ in how they charge, which assistants they cover and what comes with the plan. The facts about other companies come from their own pricing, product and docs pages, linked under Sources and checked on 15 October 2026. We make Teddit, so read our column with that in mind.

When each type of tool fits
There is no single right choice. It depends on how often you need fresh answers, how many brands or clients you track, which assistants matter to your buyers and what tools your team already uses.
When Teddit is not the right fit
- You need Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok or Naver tracked. Teddit asks six assistants: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode.[2]
- You want to try before you pay. Teddit has no free plan and no trial; the smallest top-up is $50.[1]
- You want the tool to write recommendations or content for you. Teddit measures and keeps every answer; your own AI, connected through MCP, does the thinking.
If you scan weekly or monthly, track several sites, or want your data in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor through MCP, see Teddit’s pricing and the MCP docs. For two closer looks: Profound alternatives and Teddit vs Otterly.AI.
